“You Will Rise is partnering with ArtCOZ to host a virtual celebration of Linda’s life on Saturday, October 17, 1pm-5pm 2020. Proceeds raised during the event will benefit the Linda Regula Legacy Scholarship Fund, an annual scholarship that will be awarded by You Will Rise to a high school senior who uses the arts to overcome obstacles in their lives.The Rise Together event will feature performances(one song per performer/band), tributes, readings(from Linda’s books), artwork, auction items, and special memories shared by those who knew and loved her.”
During this event Nicolettecinemgraphics worked with several artists, performers and those close to Linda to compose over 40 documentary testimonial videos, coordinate previously produced video content, and run a 4 hour live event that combined a live edited and curated zoom with participants across the nation live mixed featuring live paintings, musical performances, and two separate location masters of ceremony with prerecorded content. The live video event was able to raise just over $15,000 dollars for the project as well as provide an outlet for the community around the organization to honor the recent passing of their matriarch.
