Premiere with ReelAbilities Film Festival Columbus

ReelAbilties Film Festival Columbus is pleased to announce its second virtual festival! In 20/21 we will be switching to a Winter/Summer format, rather than a Fall/Spring and we are so excited to share our October and November films with you! 

Those Who Spring of Me is excited to premiere with the ReelAbilities Film Festival Columbus on November 18th 2020. The festival is hosted by Art Possible Ohio. Art Possible Ohio (formally VSA Ohio) is the statewide service organization on the arts and disability. We work with artists of all ages who have disabilities to make arts and cultural experiences more accessible and inclusive. Together we make art possible. The organization was one of several sponsors of the film which allowed the production to be a paid autistic employment opportunity.

Will and Tatum met on the job, and Will communicates through supported typing on a voice output device. Will and Tatum announce to his parents that they want to conceive a child together—they also ask for permission and assistance when the child is born.

The second trailer for Those Who Spring of Me, an independent feature film about a young non-verbal man with autism, Will, and his girlfriend, Tatum, who also has autism. Will and Tatum met on the job, and Will communicates through supported typing on a voice output device. Will and Tatum announce to his parents that they want to conceive a child together—they also ask for permission and assistance when the child is born. Those Spring of Me is a first-time collaborative feature film project combining the writing talents of Audrey Todd with the filmmaker background of Nicolette and Matt Swift. The film stars PJ Gilmore, Kelsea Cherry, Audrey Todd, and Scott Bogner. Danny Beane, Matt Yoho, and Emily Gabrelcik served as production assistants and the sound track will include selections of music from Bella Ruse.

Those Who Spring of Me is an independent film in production in Columbus, Ohio. The film is about a young non-verbal man with autism, Will, and his girlfriend, Tatum, who also has autism. This teaser features behind the scenes documentary footage combine with production footage to showcase the early parts of the filmmaking process of Those Who Spring of Me.

The teaser features Where We Started by Bella Ruse from their 2011 album Kuzhoo.
