As part of my undergraduate degree I obtained 45 credit hours in Fine Arts. Art has been a major part of my life for as long as I can remember. Eventually the skills that were once used for illustration and painting became part of graphic designs and computer based art work. Variable Graphic Campaign
Using a combination of information organization and graphics, a new type of graphic campaign can be designed. I have helped create several campaigns using variable assets which utilize a combination of data files, SQL programming and preflight print design, making marketing campaigns that reach thousands of recipients utilizing only one design file. Below is a PDF example of 6 variations of a single campaign designed to produce the appropriate marketing strategy for each specified recipient need from a company’s mailing list. This list includes prospective customers of Nicolettecinemagraphics, a company specializing in video, photo and digital preservation. Portions of the text and the main image are all variable assets that are generated by software, using a query language against the mail list which has data pertaining to the recipient’s possible interest.
